For the “Lovers, Dreamers, and Me” Jim Henson Tribute Show at Gallery Nucleus, Felt Mistresses’ Floyd Pepper plays up the Beatles homage to Yellow Submarine animator Heinz Edelmann. Made from felt as a sculptural piece, but it’s also a working puppet!

A friend of mine is a friend of the Henson family and was at the funeral. He cannot listen to The Rainbow Connection without crying because that’s what Kermit and the Muppets sang at the funeral. Now every time I hear the song I think about it, too. … and cry. :(
