And so, Bachmann leaves … to the cheerful melodies of Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister,” which is how we’ll remember her campaign. Like an upbeat Train song.
serious question: why is she quitting now? I mean, it’s one state. One kinda crazy state, if the pundits are right.
If the reasoning is: well her numbers are low in New Hampshire and South Carolina I say: so? her numbers were down for months going into Iowa. Did she seriously expect that she’d pull more votes than polled? Was her inability to snag some undecideds really what would make or break her campaign?
I wonder if this ha to do with that whoel thing where Republicans just run in order to get book and TV deals.I guess you don’t get a deal if you don’t at least make it through one caucus.
