I'm K. Tempest Bradford, a writer, blogger, tech geek, and all around nerd. I'm such a big science fiction/fantasy/speculative fiction fan that I even write it (I know, pretty hard core!).

I have a non-Tumblr blog and that's where the majority of my long-form posts go. This blog is for my more fannish activities, link sharing, and squeeness.

Why is Tumblr Con not a thing..? Because I would go to that. We could all wear shirts with our URL’s on them, and there would be fast, free wifi, and huge lounge area’s full of chairs and bean bags. There could be lounge places for particular fandoms, or just random ones where we could sit with each other and meet new people. I don’t know - I would spend serious cash on this :I

There should also be a Diogenes Club area, for people who can only take so much face-to-face conversation; i.e., people who use Tumblr.

Who said they’d be invited?

We can make this happen if we wanted to. Raise money for the first one on Kickstarter, decide on a city, ask locals for help.
