Part III of Ralph Lauren Fall/Winter 2012

The collection was apparently supposed to be reminiscent of Downton Abbey, but these outfits really seem more influenced by Boardwalk Empire.  Then again, I’m from Jersey, so I’m probably biased :P

The bowler hats and pinstripes have me thinking Jersey, but I can definitely see the Downton influence in the first two outfits. Mmm, velvet.

I am willing to commit unspeakable crimes to acquire these clothes. 

The bottom two on the right. WANT.

I want a dude-cut version of the red velvet one SO BADLY.  SO. BADLY.  I’d settle for just the waistcoat but DAMN.

AND I WOULD LIKE FOR TO SEE YOU IN IT. It made me sad for YEARS that men no longer dress like this, and then when I came to the UK I saw some of them at least wear waistcoats sometimes and my sadness melted away!

These are women’s clothes? Mark this as the first time I have ever been interested in anything fashion Week related! They probably don’t make them in my size, tho :(
